What is 2FA?

2FA requires two forms of verification to access an account:

  • Something you know: Your password
  • Something you have: A time-based one-time password (TOTP) code generated every 30 seconds

Why MegaAcc Provides a 2FA Tool:

When you purchase accounts with 2FA enabled, you'll receive a Secret Key (also called "2FA Secret" or "TOTP Secret"). Our 2FA Code Generator tool allows you to generate the required 6-digit codes without needing to install apps like Google Authenticator on your phone.

  2. You paste this Secret Key into MegaAcc's 2FA tool

3. Finding Your Secret Key

After purchasing an account from MegaAcc, you'll receive the Secret Key as part of your order details.

Step 1: Access Your Order

  1. Log in to your MegaAcc account
  2. Navigate to "My Orders" from the account menu
  3. Click on the order containing the account you purchased

Step 2: Locate the Secret Key

In your order details, you'll find account information that may include:

  • Email/Username: Your account login credentials
  • Password: The account password
  • 2FA Secret Key: A string of letters/numbers (e.g., "JBSWY3DPEHPK3PXP")
  • Recovery codes: Backup codes for account recovery

Important - Secret Key Format:

The Secret Key is typically a Base32-encoded string that looks like this:

  • Format: JBSWY3DPEHPK3PXP
  • Contains: Uppercase letters (A-Z) and numbers (2-7)
  • Length: Usually 16-32 characters
  • May include spaces for readability (spaces are automatically removed)

Step 3: Copy the Secret Key

Copy the entire Secret Key to your clipboard:

  • Select the entire Secret Key text
  • Right-click and select "Copy" or press Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on Mac)
  • Make sure you've copied the complete key without any extra characters

Pro Tip: You can download your order details as a file for safekeeping. This ensures you always have access to your Secret Keys even if you need them later.

4. Generating Your 2FA Code

Now that you have your Secret Key, let's generate the 6-digit authentication code.

Step 1: Open the 2FA Tool

Navigate to the MegaAcc 2FA Generator page.

Step 2: Paste Your Secret Key

  1. Look for the "Secret Key" input field
  2. Click the clipboard icon button next to the input field to paste automatically
  3. Or manually paste your copied Secret Key (Ctrl+V / Cmd+V)

Note: The tool automatically removes spaces and converts your key to the correct format, so don't worry if your Secret Key contains spaces.

Step 3: Generate the Code

  1. Click the "Get 2FA Code" button
  2. The tool will immediately generate a 6-digit code
  3. The code will be displayed in large, easy-to-read numbers

Understanding the Display

Once generated, you'll see:

  • The 6-digit code: Formatted as "123 456" for easy reading
  • Countdown timer: Shows how many seconds remain before the code expires
  • Progress bar: Visual indicator of time remaining
    • Green: More than 10 seconds remaining
    • Yellow/Orange: 6-10 seconds remaining
    • Red: 5 seconds or less remaining
  • Copy button: Click to copy the code to your clipboard

Critical - Code Duration Notice:

  • Each code is valid for 30 seconds only
  • After 30 seconds, a new code is automatically generated
  • If you see the timer is below 10 seconds, wait for the new code before attempting to log in
  • Using an expired code will result in "Invalid code" errors

Auto-Refresh Feature

The tool automatically refreshes your code every 30 seconds:

  • No need to click "Get 2FA Code" again
  • The countdown automatically resets to 30 seconds
  • You can leave the page open and get fresh codes whenever needed

5. Using the Generated Code

Now that you have your 2FA code, here's how to use it to log in to your account.

Step 1: Copy the Code

  1. Check that the countdown timer shows at least 10 seconds remaining
  2. Click the copy button next to the code
  3. You'll see a brief "COPIED!" confirmation

Tip: If the timer shows less than 10 seconds, wait for the code to refresh automatically to ensure you have enough time to complete the login.

Step 2: Navigate to Login Page

  1. Go to the login page of the account (Facebook, Gmail, Telegram, etc.)
  2. Enter your email/username and password
  3. Click "Login" or "Sign In"

Step 3: Enter the 2FA Code

Gmail / Google Accounts

Special Note:

Not all accounts have 2FA enabled. Check your order details to see if a Secret Key is provided. If no Secret Key is listed, the account does not have 2FA enabled, and you can log in using just the email/username and password.

7. Troubleshooting Common Issues

Problem: "Invalid Secret Key" Error

Possible Causes & Solutions:

  • Incomplete key: Make sure you copied the entire Secret Key
  • Extra characters: Remove any quotes, brackets, or labels (like "Secret Key:")

Problem: "Invalid Code" or "Code Expired" When Logging In
